The Philippine Linguistics Congress (PLC) aims to gather scholars interested in the study of Philippine languages to discuss current advances in the linguistic study of these languages and the application of linguistic findings and theories to other related disciplines in the Philippines. The conference also looks into contemporary comparative studies between Philippine languages and foreign languages.
We will be holding the 13th PLC on November 14 – 16 this year at the National Institute of Science and Mathematics Education Auditorium, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City.
We are currently accepting abstracts for paper presentations at the conference. Details on how to submit your abstract may be found on our website: www.linguistics.upd.edu.ph
The deadline for submission of abstracts is on April 30, 2018.
