ABOUT ICABAP 2018
The 1st International Conference on Applied Behaviour Analysis – Philippines or ICABAP 2018 is an inaugural event that aims to discuss and address the challenges in the development of ABA practice in the Philippines. ICABAP 2018 is set to happen on the 19th and 20th of April at the Mindanao Ballroom of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.
Organized under the theme “Leaning Towards Promoting the Establishment of Applied Behavior Analysis in the Philippines”, ICABAP 2018 brings together experts in the field of ABA from all over the world. The distinguished panel of experts will share the latest developments in the practice and science of ABA to more than 300 delegates of local and international industry professionals, educators, practitioners, and parents.

OUR PANEL OF EXPERTS
Dr. Neil Martin, PhD, BCBA-D
Dr. Neil Martin is the sitting Director of International Development for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). He is a renowned expert in the ABA field, and has been a behavior analyst for almost three decades.
Dr. William L. Heward. Ed. D., BCBA-D
Dr. Heward is Professor Emeritus in the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University. He is a widely-lauded scholar and has made indispensable contributions to behavior analysis and education. Dr. Heward has had many publications, such as Applied Behavior Analysis which he co-authored with John Cooper and Tim Heron; and Exceptional Children: An Introduction to Special Education.
Ms. Sorah Stein, MA, BCBA, CSE
Ms. Sorah Stein has 20 years of professional experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing her efforts on providing sexuality education to individuals with developmental disabilities. She is the founder of Partnership for Behavior Change, and teaches at Indiana University South Bend.
Ms. Cherish Twigg, M.S., BCBA
Ms. Twigg is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with extensive experience as an educator and professional consultant for various schools and families in the US. She served as the President of Establishing Operations Inc. for a decade, and is currently a consultant for JSA Clinical Group in Jacksonville, Florida as well as Milagre Kids Schools in Lansdale, PA.
Ms. Kathryn Mendoza, MA Ed., BCBA
Kathryn Millano-Mendoza completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Arts in Education, specializing in Child Study from the country’s national leading center for teacher education, the Philippine Normal University. She is a registered teacher and had finished basic and advance Applied Behavior Analysis course series at Florida Institute of Technology. Kathryn is the only and first native BCBA residing in the Philippines.
Ms. Kathryn is the founder of PIECES, a center that provides ABA program services for children with developmental disabilities, and trains competitive behavioral technicians. She has been trained and employed in Tokyo, Japan as a behavior therapist and learning support teacher, and was a Senior Consultant Instructor for an educational support group for children with Autism in Vietnam.
